Public Talk: Climate Communication and Public Trust
Structural Issue Identified
Public trust weakens when climate decisions are communicated without clear links between policy intent, delivery conditions, and everyday lived experience.
What problem this work relates to
Public trust and implementation reliability in climate decision-making.
Structural Adjustment & Implementation
Delivered a structured public talk using a simple trust framework to link climate decisions to delivery conditions and lived experience. Facilitated discussion using concrete local examples (energy, transport, local policy) to test clarity and relevance.
Observable Effect
Participants were able to articulate clearer trust barriers and communication needs using the framework. Further iteration needed to test whether the approach supports sustained behaviour change or follow-on action.
